August 2025 Update

Post by sleepyjaguar »

On this update i bring some good news, finally!

I got a pair of purebred Norman Cobs: Autumn Nights and Resonant Coda. After my initial sucess with two mares, it took me a while for a colt. I only have one of the purebred mares still. I am hoping she will stay until Coda is old enough to breed. He is on the 38k HGP mark, which is good cause poor Autumn Nights is 27k.

I will keep breeding the recipe for Norman Cob to get fresh blood. My only goal with the Belgians and Forest Horses are maintaining a 0% COI pool of recipe breeds for the Norman Cob. But i do try to raise the HGP and whatnot.

For the Tarpans. I am currently working on fixing the graying gene on the herd, and avoiding stuff like red comments, HGP lower than parents and bad evaluations for the breed. Once i get my first 100% purebred gray Tarpan i will start to work on raising the HGP and getting good coompetition horses. Altough i am not yet sure which disciplines i want the most. Probably hunter.
