Competition Scarcity

This isn't a me personally issue, it is a widespread issue, and one of the easier ways to put a bandaid on the problem until we get a permanent fix would be to just make it accessible to everyone. It's not like most people upgrade just for recurring comps; it's a useful QOL improvement, but it wouldn't be gamebreaking for it to be temporarily available to the entire community (especially if limitations could still be put in place, i.e. no changing the default competition settings for purse, breed etc). The fact of the matter is we need more comps. I don't think the current playerbase is going to be able to make sure that there are always enough comps available in every discipline; a greater number of available competitions also benefits everyone, not just the un-upgraded players.

Then make more shows. The number of upgraded accounts vs basic accounts has nothing to do with the number of shows that can be hosted. It is more convenient to have multiple shows running daily if they are on auto, but nothing is stopping basic members from logging on daily to host shows. The CONVENIENCE is the upgraded perk. And frankly most upgraded players are probably using their show slots to test their own horses; I’m not personally going to waste my limited slots to host general events when I know I’ll need them for my own projects.

We have some major changes coming for competitions and local shows. Larissa and I talked about it and the way the system works now would need enough changed for the temporary solution that she may as well just fix it properly. Should be first on the list after the art update.

However if some people would like to volunteer I can give a month of premium for free as long as they promise to make some competitions.

I would happily take that. I know a couple of other people who would too. There are only 4 or so recurring dressage comps open to trained dressage horses currently; I've been spamming them for my own purposes but I would be happy to just make a bunch of recurring ones so there's 10 open, and then use the rest for a less popular discipline- there are 0 level 10 Driven Dressage comps open currently so I'd probably go with that as a secondary one.

Got one daily in barrel racing but only at lvl 3 cause i cant do higher yet, but im training that skill rn :3
