Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

great!! congrats! I have two thoroughbreds but the COI is high
I had a plateau Persian mare but she just died oops. When I get more you can just breed to them and get your own Pahlavans and do what you want with them. COI isnt a deal breaker since I just want the breed to spread. Question though is do you know how to breed horses to have Mohawks? I think it’d help my Pahlavans get more popular and make them look unique
I think some grade horses, belgians, prezwalski, galloways https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/4747299 like this mare, and some more often have mohawks, but prezwalskis ALWAYS have them I think!

Oh phew!! I’ve been breeding to prezwalskis so far. None of the crossbred foals have ‘mohawked’ so far but like breeding in hopes of creating a new breed I’m guessing it takes trial and error. I’m also planning on taking the unrelated part Prezwalskis that haven’t mohawked and breed them together to see what happens, it’s kind of fun sometimes just mixing and matching

I found two plateau Persian mares that I’d forgotten about and bred them to my TB. If they have Pahlavans you can take the foals if you want. They wouldn’t be useful to me anyways because they share the same father as my Pahlavans and their mothers are my Pahlavans mother’s younger full sister, so like, their horsey aunts lol
