Yeah it was just the timezone issue that made it impossible for me. HWO is great and chill and all but sometimes it feels too chill like nothing is happening, its also a pretty old game though so im glad its still around. I wish they’d promote their game a little more though. I honestly want to draw one of my favorite horses in a speedpaint and post it on my yt channel and talk about HWO. I also want to do things here, like big things somehow

Yeah honestly I want ask them if I can post them around social media to get it more active, and if they do allow it I will do it when they release the models, the game is good, and stuff, but yeah they say they will add everything and I know it’s hard and stuff to make all of this but they have been saying it at least for a while (not the models but everything else), I know there are some other priorities before hand, but still yk?

I joined in march so I haven’t really felt that yet, but things like the genetics testing page that shows up for every horse looks super interesting and I wonder when we will get that. I’ve also heard of things like vet and trainer tickets getting added and want to know what that would look like sigh. My biggest fear is that by promoting HWO I’d put too much pressure on larissar and Tom, they already do a lot looking into bugs and glitches and helping players with stuff. And also that people would see the slow progression and absolutely trash talk this awesome game just because things go slow. Still I wish I could help speed things along somehow by testing stuff or helping with the models. I have no idea how the models work but the art is amazing and I’m an artist and wish I could lend my skills

On one hand the advanced notice is nice if you seldom play or your breeding project is going slowly, but for me I really want to see that COI factor in because I’ve been prepping for it by trying to start low COI lines and stuff. But it’s hard because most horses are terribly inbred and few people are breeding good low COI horses. EmiisHeartless is the only person I know to be successful at it, they’ve made a whole guide on how to do it and breed 45k GP grade horses. But I see things like people spending all their money on the trainer ticket feature and I wonder when is that gonna pay off? When is my hard work gonna pay off?

In her youth she was a race horse in Colorado, she almost went to a really big race, I can’t remember which one but it was an Olympic like endurance race, came up lame lol and couldn’t go. But anyways when she was young she did endurance and track. One day they opened the starting gates and nobody knows how, but right out of that gate a piece of gate metal somehow caught her hip and tore it, left a nasty gash. Her left hip muscle has been weaker ever since and she struggles cantering on it. It’s probably been 15 years since that accident. And she’s still in physical therapy, in fact I was one of the riders to help her through that, even though my left side is my weaker side as well, but if anything that was just another trait we had in common. Gosh I miss my Keen bean

I know I get it, but I don’t think the game will be able to put all of the diseases, most likely only the popular ones (Tendont, leg break, coli, respiratory illnesses, back problems when old, tetanus, influenza, ultrasounds, miscarriages, or like put to sleep or sm)

And yeah probably not because there are hundreds of obscure diseases and new ones too. I just hope it won’t be entirely random, like entering an out of shape horse increases injury chance or something, instead of like every time you take a turn the game randomly rolls for an injury

Yeah, I’m planning to do a whole forum post about it, if they will do the vet thing just so they could see the reference or sm, and I will ask for suggestions from others to see what they think should be added to it, and fix stuff here and there, just to show the vet thing we all want or sm like that yk
