Hello all, I'm Cigogne. I breed Anglo-Normans that specialise in Sprint Racing, and this is where I will be logging milestones I've reached with my herd.

To give some background, the Anglo-Norman is a warmblood breed, developed in the Normandy region of France. It is descended from Thoroughbreds and Arabians, and has played a role in the creation of some other breeds, such as the Polish Sokólski draught horse, and the Hungarian Nonius. In real life, Anglo-Normans were bred with other local horses after the Second World War in order to create the Selle Français; officially, there are no more pure Anglo-Normans, though there are some efforts being made to bring them back.

In game, they are created by crossing a Thoroughbred with a Norman Cob, and they are used in the creation of the following breeds:

I chose this breed for very profound reasons (I'm French) because there weren't very many of them around, and with the Thoroughbred surplus, I could choose between a wide range of colours and builds to base my herd off of.
When I started breeding them, there were about 100 active Anglo-Normans in game. As I'm writing this, that number stands at 234 (and rapidly growing). I set out with the mission to breed Anglo-Normans that were competitive in the Sprint Racing discipline, and that I wouldn't be selling or studding out my horses until I was satisfied with the average conformation/GP/build/performance of my horses. My long-term goal was to break a Sprint Racing World Record, and I am very glad to share that I have achieved that goal much earlier than I thought I would!
Therefore, I will be partially opening my lines up and offering certain stallions for stud. I won't have them permanently up, but if anyone is interested, just reply to this post, ping me, PM me, or send a message if you catch me on the Discord chat, and we can work something out. I will do discounts for newer players and for those who are trying to create any of the breeds listed above and need an Anglo-Norman to do so. I am a bit more reluctant to sell, as I would like to keep track of where my lines are going, but I'm not ruling anything out either. To clarify, any horses sold would be untrained ones on this account, not any competitive horses on my frozen/competitive account (Corbeau).
