Sapphire pony's famr has good notes on the description about stats! I cannot help with training things because I don't train my horses, I pay for it. ow much money do you have? I will buy a horse from your that has no children, if you don't want it. I think I can send you 15k!DukeOfGeese wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:12 amI did see that the disciplines have recommended stats, although I thought it mostly just showed the main 2 and others still influenced them so it's good to know! Although I still don't know the most effective way to train a specific stat. I just click a few things and hope for the bestPinkSoul_Horse2 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:04 am
yeah, to know, put them on local shows and it will show what level they can compete. Also, if you do (for example) dressage, it doesn't affect if the horse isn't trained a lot on the speed skill, because dressage doesn't need speed. A lot of people train horses at 100% for maybe 5k if you're a newbie, like appaloosa, another player. Any help you need, I'd love to to help with anything: money, better horses (I don't have grinders because I'm a breeder) anything!

It feels weird being able to ask or accept money help (I came over from Morning Dust Ranch and EquinePassion) but yeah, I think for the moment money is the biggest issue if I need to focus on player courses.
I've already maxed Basic Horse Management 1 and am working on Basic Reproduction and Training techniques, it just eats through money soo fast
Also, I will find a horse of my farms, a great one, to sell you for low price (100 bucks or less)

Re: Looking for English grinder (?) / General help
So on the local show tab it shows what stats your horse should be trained in to compete in that type of show. Local shows also help evaluate what level of that show your horse should compete in and what their weight for it should be. For instance dressage has movement and balance labeled beneath it on the local shows. So you should train your horse in balance and movement to improve its skill. You can select different types of training and watch the level bars of your horses training to see which stats it would affect. For instance a dressage horse might benefit from the ‘loose rein’ training since that training type has +balance +movement +intelligence. The more pluses in front of the training type the more that stat would get an increase. For instance transitions training has +++balance, so that stat would get a huge increase, but it could cost more of your horses energy. In addition there is an ideal weight range for any type of show a horse competes in, and in general you don’t want your horse to be very skinny or very fat. If you go to the feed bar you can see there are three different bars:DukeOfGeese wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:12 amI did see that the disciplines have recommended stats, although I thought it mostly just showed the main 2 and others still influenced them so it's good to know! Protein, fiber, and sugar. Different types of feed affect these bars. You can also mix types and percentages of feed depending on what you want. Sugar affects a horse temperament, the more sugar the horse has the more high strung it is, which is good for shows like racing but bad for things like western and dressage. Fiber affects the horses weight I think, so things like weight gain mix feed have a lot of fiber so your horse can gain weight quickly. I’m not an expert on feeding though. But if you go to the gameplay and help section and ask what you should feed your horse for the disciplines you want to do, I’m sure someone who knows a lot more about that will answer you. I hope this helps ^^

Re: Looking for English grinder (?) / General help
Yes training and skills uses a lot of money, to be honest I don’t focus on them too much. In the past I’ve improved my horse reproduction and max horse related skills for breeding when I breed a lot of horses, and I’ve upgraded training skills for the stats that my horses need the most training in. I do racing type shows so I upgrade my stamina, speed, and agility stats, stuff like that. For things like dressage you’ll want to focus on upgrading stats like balance and movementDukeOfGeese wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:12 amI did see that the disciplines have recommended stats, although I thought it mostly just showed the main 2 and others still influenced them so it's good to know!
