El projecte denominat "Faeroes Pony Project" relacionat amb el poni de les Feroe, realitzat especificament per PSH, intenta fer que aquesta raça incrementi el seu potencial genetic i fer-la una raça més popular. Aquesta raça compta amb 116 cavalls actius actualment. La seva "recepta" és el cavall fiord, d'origen norueg, i un Tarpan pony.

Desprès d'aconseguir dos ponis de diferent gènere de poni de les Feroe, s'intentarà fer més generacions d'aquesta raça. L'objectiu no necessita un COI baix, això sera un projecte apart en un altre moment.

És una raça que sempre tinc a prop, tinc dos eugues hispano-àrab. Convertiré això en un projecte per popularitzar aquesta raça més endavant. No és complicada, però es necesita paciencia.

Description Usually, they have wide face if you look the profile, like and andalusian, but form the front, it's a mix between arabian and andalusians, It's not so smaill like arabs, but not wide like andalusians. They have a fine muzzle, it's not wide, the opposite.Strong short back, and the tail, it's a little elevated when they run and sometimes it's forever like this, but not exaggerated. They have refined muscles if they train. Their leng is medium lenght, fine but strong.
