Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Looking for fellow low COI focused breeders!!

Post by UltimateHonse2 »

Hello HWO!! I’m a bit new here and I’ve finally found my footing at breeding competitive Arabs and increasing the Pavlavan breed size and quality. However most of my horses have that 100%+ COI and I’m trying to lower it by breeding to low COI horses, which affects GP… etc, etc. It’s also a little difficult obtaining enough horses to sustain an inbreeding free line, so I was wondering if there are other breeders out there with the same goal? It’d increase the options for breeding partners, helping keep lines inbreeding free and perhaps increase the HGP quality of such horses as well! I hope to chat with you soon if you’re a fellow low COI breeder!! :)

I am a strict 0% COI Arab breeder who is gradually increasing positive stats. I’d be happy to help out! Just let me know what you’re interested in!

Hey!! Would you happen to have any older mares/stallions you no longer need?

Cool!! Is there a specific pasture you put them in or should I just go browsing your farm? XD
