You train the horse as much as you can and enter the races found at the bottom of the training page

You train the horse as much as you can and enter the races found at the bottom of the training page

You don't need to level to get more horses. Nor do you train and enter them in races. Leveling gives you a selection of PT, money and a player skill point. Training and entering competitions and local shows will help you with day-to-day bread & butter monies as well as random PT and turn drops.

You earn more horse slots by studying.
Go to:
Player (opens up selections, it's the picture of a person on the left side of the screen)
Open up Skills (drop down selection)
Click Horse Ownership
Start studying a course.
Note: you must start studying a course by clicking on one, then when the countdown is finished, you must click the button 'Finish Course' before your account updates.
