I don't know what she is, but I'm excited about the leg stripes. :)

〶 Choco Kush

Bay Dun Tobiano? Pangare?

〶 Chocolate Fondue

This is a colt to the above mare (Choco Kush). Looks like a dark Palomino to me, but I know that isn't correct.

Choco Kush looks like a Bay Pangare with Tobiano.

Chocolate Fondue is a Silver Bay Pangare with Tobiano.

I don't see any dun on either. So if they have it, it'll be a cryptic sort.

It's the pangare that's turning their coats so bright. If you need a refresher on Pangare, take a look at my study, it should sharpen your eye a bit better.

See the tiny amount of stripe near the ears? Is that not an indicator of dun? Or am I just trying to look for indicators too hard? XD

Most likely from bay and not from dun.
Although in my studies, I did see striped dun ears, I haven't been able to find them since. But it appears kind of like the back, where there appears to be a mid-stripe down the center of the ear and then little stripes on either side. That's what I remember. Unfortunate I didn't get an image of them. The good thing is that the ears may confirm dun, it's not the only indicator of dun. I don't see flushed ankles, I don't see any striping as yearlings and I can't pick up a trace of a dun mask on the body.
So, there could be dun, but nothing I can pick up on.

When we get our new colors, from some of the images I've seen... we're likely going to have more problems with dun and also less problems with dun. The strength of the dun will get better to see and also be a bit more cryptic... if that's even possible.

Hopefully, we'll get color testing shortly thereafter.

I am so ready for the color testing. It will help me better identify colors. I actually breed pet rats in real life, so am familiar with color genes. I am just not familiar with horse genetics!

You're doing decently good!
When I look at things like dun and pangare and leopard complex, I eventually start seen spots, stripes and dusty coats everywhere! That's when I know it's time to get off the pc and start looking at real things for awhile.
So it certainly doesn't surprise me that you're starting to see stripes if you're looking to get or breed-out something like dun. 8-)

My guess was Palomino Pearl? I'm not great with dilutes.
