What's up with these Arabians?
I created my account forever ago, but college got in the way so I wasn't able to play.
Now I'm back and breeding Arabians! Except what the heck is up with these things???? Why are the in game arabs so beefy and why do they have roman noses? What makes arabs unique is their concave facial structure. Makes no sense to me. Is there a way to breed for the concave face?

Re: What's up with these Arabians?
That would take time, and arabs can be bred to look like virtually anything. If you want to bred arabs so they have specific dished faces it would take time, and maybe a bit of interbreeding.holly0225 wrote:I created my account forever, but college got in the way so I wasn't able to play.

@stephanie111
Thank you for telling me! I wasn't sure if dished faces was a thing in this game. I guess I have my work cut out for me. lol

Lol no problem:) I'm no expert, but interbreeding will definitely help you achieve the desired results.holly0225 wrote:@stephanie111

Re: What's up with these Arabians?
The adoption center Arabians come out having a decent amount of Arabian qualities. It is possible to breed them to look more like their real life counterparts. I'm guessing the beefy Roman nose Arabians that are rampant these days (and my personal pet peeve, the very uphill build on many) is due to players focusing on stats more than looks. It's definitely made me think twice about how much work I want to put in breeding out poor looks when checking out some of these studs!

Re: What's up with these Arabians?
I am currently trying to breed better looking arabians but still keep the good stats. I don't have a lot of time playing this game at the moment but if anyone is interested in the same goal I might have horses with potential to either sell or for stud.
Here I list a few horses that I have in possession right now with the potential of having more dished faces:
ℬℳ Fading Fire

(He will be sold when training is finished.)
ℬℳ Many Spots

(Not very dished face but definitely not roman nosed. His tail is what I am focusing on to keep in my arabian lines as well.)
ℬℳ Ghostly Maze

(Very good potential in body type and slightly dished face and with good tail position. Will not be sold until she is bred at least once.)
ℬℳ False Wonder

(Very dished face. Pretty good tail. Unfortunately quite short but on the other hand she can be bred to stallions too tall for the breed, and there are many of them.)
ℬℳ Windy Night

(Good head, very good tail. 4 stars for arabian.)
ℬℳ Krypton

(Good head, Good tail. Very good body type, unfortunately too tall.)
ℬℳ Fast Reaper

(Good head, pretty good tail. Good body type but too tall, unfortunately.)
ℬℳ Perfect Jewel

(Very good face, pretty good tail. Can be sold if anyone is interested.)
And a few more in my pastures but I can not list everyone here.
