LF: Horses to Practice Training On

Post by Birtwick_Stables »

Hi! In case you don't know/haven't met me, I'm Birtwick_Stables but I go by Birt if you're more comfortable with that! I have been rather quiet the past few years, slowly building up my training skills and, more recently, working on an endurance racing Kazakh horse line. However, I'm looking to start a training business, not just to make money but to get to know people and open myself up to more opportunities. I can train a horse in under 2 years in all stats on a good day (and if my grinder cooperates lol) and can adjust weight/temperament. I can usually train in a matter of hours and at most, 2 days. However, that's stretching it. I understand that in order for people to want to pay me to train their horses, I need to have a good reputation and I'm looking to start off by training a few people's horses for free, so I can practice and build up my reputation. If you're interested in helping me out, just link a horse below I can offer on and train as well as the specifications you require (weight, temperament etc) I'm only doing a few horses (maybe 3 at most) at a time, however, and I may not choose your horse so please be kind and patient! Thank you!
Sincerely,
Birt

Oh, and here is an example of a horse I have trained:

Hello,
I noticed that you deleted your response (in which you requested training) to my ad.
Just wanted to give you a heads up that I will not be training horses for free that you are getting paid 500k or more to supposedly train. That is dishonest. Period. I have noticed that you are constantly taking training jobs offering large sums of money and then immediately turning to someone else and paying them much less to train the horses that you should be training yourself. I fear I cannot offer my services to someone who is engaging in that sort of dishonest behavior. It feels like being cheated. I understand the need and want to make money but, trust me, this is not the way to go about doing so.

Even if I was getting paid 90k for a training that you are supposed to be doing I would not take the job after seeing what you and some others appear to have been doing, which is paying someone else to train a horse that you yourself are supposed to be training. (and, in most cases, it appears you have been getting paid much more than what you are paying the trainer) That is all I have to say. Best of luck,

Sincerely,

Hi there!
So sorry for the late response!
Are you still wanting some horses trained?
I can take one at the moment and the rest later.
As for the lowest temp, you want them bombproof if I'm understanding correctly?
And Moderately thin?

No worries! And yes that would be great :> Bombproof and mod thin works. If you’d like to notify me when he’s done my main account is WildMustang and you can DM me there!

I’ve got some horses I could send over. I always seem overrun with my competition prospects. Just let me know and I’ll put up one or two of my fillies.
