Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Rare Breed Projects
I decided a while ago that I wanted to start breeding rare breeds. I wanted to mix things up and see what I could actually do. I picked out a few projects incase some didn't last or I just couldn't finish but below are the successful and current projects.
Anglo-Kabarda Project
I have been working at this one for a while since it was the first rare breed project I started. As of today, I have 2 successful Anglo-Kabarda foals. 1st photo is the mare and 2nd photo is the stallion.

•⚔• Touch Alliagnace (colt/stallion)

Sable Island Pony
This project was my third choice that I kept at and successfully have two foals that are Sable Island Ponys. One mare and one stallion which I am hoping to continue breeding and have a whole herd of Sable Island Ponys. Once I have a good amount of them, I am going to try and make little ones that are about 30 inches max.
•⚔• Bewildering Bar (mare)

•⚔• Tan Copper (colt/stallion)

Icelandic Pony
This project is one I just recently started but I have the correct mix for the breed and am awaiting for my mares to pop. This is the first breeding and I will be keeping score of how many times it takes to successfully get a foal.

Russian Don
This Russian Don project is actually to help me with another breed I am looking to do. However, until I successfully breed a Russian Don to use in the mix, I will not be posting the other breeding project. So far I have had no successful Russian Don foals but the mix I need to do is tricky since I only have stallions for it, no mares have been produced yet.
