Do Mares and Fillies Typically Have Lower Genetic Potentials?
I keep getting really high genetic potential colts out of the same two horses but the fillies out of these same horses always have lower genetic potentials by a couple thousand. I know each foal's genetic potential is going to vary but it seems like only the fillies have the lower genetic potentials.
I was just wondering if fillies are typically born with lower genetic potentials compared to the colts.

I believe so, yes. I think it might theoretically be possible to breed for them to be similar levels, but generally speaking I've always had GP jumps in colts first.
