"Half" horse breed instead of new breed

Post by brixton22 »

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this game and I am actually trying to breed a norman cob. The recipe calls for a belgian x forest bred with a belgian x tarpan. I have these horses and both are rated 4* norman cob so not the best but still decent. I keep getting a half belgian multiple times, I was wondering if there's something I could do better or if anyone has any tips to help get the new breed?
Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Your horses Candy Crush and Bright Light evaluate decently enough for the norman cob. It may be just a matter of time, because their incorrect areas are averaged out within the cob's requirements. I do wonder if your foals are popping out too tall and too much horse. Take a closer look at your foals, if they're taller than 10 hands as a newborn, that will be one of your problems. You'll want them to be born in the 9 to 10 hand area.
