ISO High Coverage Snowflake

Post by Shadow Scar »

I'm hoping to find some horses with high coverage or, preferably full body Snowflake. I've got my own bloodline of them, but they are notorious for not wanting to pass down their coverage to offspring. The ones I have currently are at the point of being nearly clones.

I haven't been able to find any others on the sale/stud market, so I'd be happy to pay 500k for any full coverage horses or 250k for horses with half coverage.

What I'm looking for:

You may seek out Silverine. They had a line of these, I don't know if they still exist or if they'd be willing to share, but that would be my suggestion. By the way, beautiful outcomes. :D Congrats!

Awesome, thanks for letting me know! I'll definitely look into contacting Silverine.
Honestly I kind of expected I'd end up breeding to unrelated mares in an attempt to create separate lines. I haven't seen very many horses with more than the usual snowflakes here lately so I'm not super surprised.

Hey I’ve got this guy I could put up for stud I can’t sell as he’s one of my best tbs and I don’t have many of those 😂 he’s not full coverage but has passed his snowflakes down so maybe he could produced some ?
He is up for 300k from previous but can lower :)
Let me know , I love the snowflakes so pretty !

I had planned in the future of creating my own line of these, but haven't started or given much thought to which breed. They are rare, but there are some sitting around. 8-)

I'd love to do a few coverings with him! Not only does he have a nice spattering of snowflake he's also black based and I'd absolutely love to see some black horses with full coverage. They'd look like a starry sky. I'd be completely fine paying 300k since he is a high performance stud.

I might see about putting up a stud or two. I doubt they'd produce full coverage foals outside of the line but it would give others a chance to start their own snowflake project.

Great thanks! My mares are carrying right this second but I'm aging them through right now. I can't wait to see them either. :D

I believe i have some snowflake in my herd? It's mixed with other white genes/appaloosa patterns tho so i am not sure if that's what you are looking for. But feel free to take a look and let me know ^^
