Hey! I noticed that both of you have breed to two of my stallions which are private, one of which I paid a lot for,and I am kindly asking that you re-home the foal or pay full price for the stud fee. Thank you for your consideration.
Sailboat121 these two mares were bred to the QH stallion Clean Smoke:

Re: Private Studs
Why do you have them set as studs if they are private? It’s a genuine question that I’m just curious about. Yes I’ll rehome the foal but this just seems a little silly to make us either rehome or pay the whole stud fee. Do you care to explain why?

Re: Private Studs
So basically It is just to keep studs for longer so they don't have to be on your account like if someone is holding them for you and you can still breed to them. For me it helps me keep my studs and mares separate. I do apologize as I try not to leave the studs up for longer than I need to and I didn't realize they were so this was also a mistake on my part. Apologies

Re: Private Studs
I have made mistake about too. When setting stud up there is mode come soon where person can accept the mare. That mode is not out. I don't think they did anything wrong, and It is fair for them to ask for horse or for it to be deleted because that foal is also theirs since their horse was stud.sailboat121 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 4:27 am Why do you have them set as studs if they are private? Re: Private Studs
We do not yet have approved mare access. This will change eventually. It is the players' common courtesy to not breed to horse's marked as 'private'. Because we can have horses on different accounts that stop them from aging, we can have longer access to a stud as a breeder by applying the horse as a stud on one account and utilize them from another account.
It never hurts to ask the owner of the stud if you can breed to them. Many of us will do so and sometimes at a discount rate for a number of reasons (all at the discretion of the owner).
We will have approved mare access sometime, so these things will stop happening.
