Dark Star is a Grullo w/ Tiger eye or Ee + aa + D? + Ton + TgTg
The Dun gene can cause color shifting on the main body. BlackOak2 has a really good dun guide if you want to take a look at different types.

Yes but, I have a grullo, but Dark Star isn’t near like him, so that’s why I was confused, cuz usually grullos have stripes on the back or legs, and he has non of em

Having Dun doesn’t always mean there will be striping on the body. Horses can range from being very heavily covered in stripes to what we call cryptic duns that show no markings or color shifting at all but can throw dun offspring. It’s honestly a very confusing/complicated gene! :?

Here are some examples:
Has faint stripes on legs with color shift.
Has no markings and a small amount of color shifting.
Has a very obvious color shift but no markings.

That’s so complicated, anyway thank you!
