New and Looking for Guidance

Post by HecateHollow »

Hello!

Just starting out and I love to dive headfirst into games like this but I'm struggling with direction. I read about grinding with horses but it seems like I only have enough time in a day to really focus on local showing one horse while training one other. Am I utilizing time correctly? Is there a guide on how best to maximize time?

Also struggling with the simplest of things like changing my avatar. It seems like no matter what link I try to use (even it it meets the under 90x90 pixel requirement) it just won't take it. Is it something I'm missing? Am I also missing how to change the avatar that stands beside the horse?

Sorry for so many questions!
Thanks for any help!

I'm not an expert on the avatar pixel. As you can see, I don't have one.
That said, try this link, others have found it helpful for getting their avatar to work.

The gray person is a placeholder. It will be updated in the future.

You're just about where the rest of us are, for training and local shows. If you toggle the horses training regimes (start one, then start another when you're along in the first, and then repeat for the third, being along with the second), you can technically have three going at any one time with minimal overlay where one or another may not get all of their training in every turn. However, most of us will only train one at a time and then use up the remaining time with local shows.

Your biggest time savers will be your player training skills. But there are some purchasable time saver add-ons in the Player Bonuses in the Store.

If you find your horses aging too much, there's always the option of putting them in boarding (also known as freezing them). You can do this with a secondary account but there are those that offer such a service as well. Please be careful you only use reputable players. There is an occasional one that'll outright lie to get a horse and never give it back. We have rules about upholding contracts, but then it's a hassle and there's no guarantee that the horse will ever return.
