How to message players?

I've found many players with horses that I want that are not for sale but if I search them nothing comes up. How to I privet message them?

You cannot private message them unless you become an upgraded member.
You can however, ping them using one of their posts.

There are three ways to contact people.
1. To earn 500 pony tokens and upgrade your account
2. Happen to get on the chat at the same time as them
3. To make a new topic in the forum and quote them. When you quote someone they get a notification like the one you just got. You can quote someone by typing out the following:

[*quote=""][*/quote]

Just remove the * and type the players name between the ".

go to the search forum in the community section and type in guides how to pinging and it should be the second one but it may be the first and read those. it even has a link for you to ping them if you need it. If it is me then you dont have to ping me ill be gone the last week of March and the first week of April but other than that im on every morning and night and i always check the news feed. in fact if you want you can look at my farm and see if there is a horse you want and ill let you know if you can have it.

Extremely late response to this thread, but I am an upgraded player and it still won't let me send PM's. I get a message that says:

"We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature."

Does this mean I need to comment on forums? Yelling into the void for anyone who sees my comment on this old post. Thanks!

Yes, it is an anti spam feature. You must post on the forums and have your posts approved before you can message freely.
