Beautiful! Is it bad that I like the old dappling as much as the new dappling? XD

I have one additional thing to add. Please don't make the black parts look too gray (lightening, bleeding or washing-out). I've been seeing that a lot lately (not on this game) and redesigns on black coats are starting to make them look too gray, they're losing that true-black coloration. I see that a little here on the new art, in particular, the legs of the very first photo, the two bays. The old coat for the black points may be too black, but the new coat feels too bright, especially when displayed side-by-side.

Otherwise, these are beautifully gorgeous. I'm a fan of the pangare as well, in particular, on the brown coats and they came out perfect. (Although I also feel the black on the brown coats is too light as well - but that's just an aside.)

My question to add to this topic is are we going to see this changes added affective immediately or is there and actual update we should be looking out for? Another question I have is, is this going to affect already owned horses, new horses, or all horses in game?

Once this update is ready to be launched we will make an announcement. We still have quite a bit of work to complete before the new art is ready.

All existing horses will keep their current coats, only new foals and new AC horses will have the new artwork.

I haven't shown all the full colour ranges yet and black in particular still needs a little work still. I think we have two very striking shades of black available, one a bit "red based" and the other a bit "blue based". Giving players the option of which "shade" of black they most prefer to breed for :)

Oh good!
Seeing, black-is-black is one thing and of course, there is only so many options for 'black'.  But to see others apply such black to become more like gray, just to give different blacks a chance to have MORE different blacks... it always felt as a cop-out. 'It's okay to have only one or two types of black.' - I want to say.

In the end though, I'd have to say HWO has more than just the two types of black, the red and the blue. The shading alone allows for quite a few black hues. So, yeah, perhaps there's only two tones of black, but that doesn't quite define what we have here.

I was concerned and didn't want to lose the beautiful black we already have, so yeah, that's settled now. 8-) Looking forward to seeing the black, too, whenever that comes to fruition. ❤️
