West African Barb is completed and Mongolian Horse is up next!

We are thrilled to announce that the West African Barb breeding project completed on the weekend and now we can announce the next breed up: The Mongolian Horse! Great work to all the diligent breeders who contributed to the West African Barb project, we know it was a difficult breed to work on.

The Mongolian Horse is a little easier to breed, but most importantly it's a significant step in what we're calling the Path to the Thoroughbred! If you check out the breed populations you might notice that the Thoroughbred is the third most popular breed overall, but if you exclude Ancient breeds then it is the number one most popular breed. Quite a feat for a breed that requires a lot of work to reach.

The Path to the Thoroughbred will be a long journey with stops at many other popular breeds along the way so we believe it will be a fun overall project and we hope you'll all join in and contribute towards each community breeding project as they are announced.
