Horse breeding question!
Hi!!!
Guys I’m breeding racing horses they get good stats like speed 64, and stamina 40+ and strength around 30+, but thing is when ever I race them they run like slower than horses whit worse stats even tho my horses they are fully trained, they run around 02:01.?? Or 02:02.?? .
Why is that? And how can I make my horse go under 2 mins or 2 mins.
And does titles affect horses if their parents have Grand champion or any else?

Re: Horse breeding question!
Titles don't affect the horses or their offspring. It's more of an indicator as to how well they've done competing.
In order for horses to win competitions, they have to be trained, just like in real life! There are some players here that offer free or cheap horse training for new players, and some even offer trained horses that you can use!
As for stats, you've got the right idea! you want them as high as possible for the discipline you want the horse to compete in.
There are some great resources in the forums for breeding for competitions under the "user guides" section, and I'm pretty sure there are even some about breeding for racing if you scroll far enough.

Re: Horse breeding question!
Just because your horse has all of it 'on paper' doesn't mean they'll perform well. If you're satisfied where they are current 'on paper', then you need to start honing them for the competitions. In order to do this, you need to take your best horses (the ones that have the fastest times, not the ones that look best 'on paper') and breed these together. By doing this, you'll start to weed out the stuff that's bringing your horses down in competitions.
Some things will change as you do so. It'll be up to you to decide what's acceptable loss and what's not.
Starting to hone horses toward their competitions should start at about HGP 54,000, so if you're above that mark, then testing and retrieving actual scores and breeding based off of how they do, is the next appropriate step.
There is more to a horse doing well in a competition then just the breeder's report and the numbers of the conformation. If this were the case, then we'd all be trumped by these HGP 73 horses in a lot of these competitions and this just isn't the case.
This is why we've been told and have passed onward:
'If you want to make a good competition horse, take your two best horses (competition scoring) and breed them together, then rinse and repeat.'
You will eventually have a horse that's not only competitive, but record breaking.

Re: Horse breeding question!
This is a dumb question, but, are your horse's at Moderately Thin and Spirited when you race them, or what?
