Post by sunandshadow »

You won't find high GPs here, but 2 fully trained Grinder mares (wild bay Belgian Champ of marathon driving and Turkmene black tobiano racer. Both COI 0 adoptees, ready to breed, you can see their existing goals to get insight into their genes.
Visit my farm, they are in the For Sale pasture. Ping me here if you are interested in one that's not currently up for offers.

(Edited to remove one sold and one rehomed horse.)

Ok I put him for sale, you are a new enough player that I will just give him to you. So just offer $1 on him.

How to start a stable, hmm. There are two different ways to play this game - you can put some real money into the game and then focus on breeding for looks and ignore trying to earn money through events or only compete 1 horse. Or you can focus on one or two events and breed for the stats needed to do well in them. I kind of by accident ended up focusing on pole bending while trying to buy and breed for a specific look. I'm lowkey roleplaying that I'm the founder of a new horse breed.

Anyway, events. Each local event lists on it the 2 main stats you need for that event. There are also two hidden stats that count but not as heavily. Training itself needs stamina. So you want to train a horse in stamina and the two main stats of it's event first, then you can consider working on the other stats later. If you compete your horse in the local event it will tell you if your horse's condition and temperament are right, or whether you need to adjust them up or down with the horse's feed. Moonlit Shards is partly trained for racing, which means speed and stamina. The hidden stats for racing are strength and a double-up on speed. The normal condition and temperament for racing is Moderately Thin, Spirited. So if he's in a pasture eating partly grass and already at his desired condition and temperament you probably want to feed him weight gain mix at 103% daily energy. The idea is to hit the target on the sugar bar to stay the same temperament. To calm down, less sugar, to get more spirited, more sugar. Pregnant mares may need 104%.

I've been holding this horse for you, but you haven't offered on it? I need the room, so, if you don't want him I'll accept another offer tomorrow.
