Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

breeding for gp

Post by jkwjkw »

I have many 73k gp stallions for stud and lots for sale for cheap around 1000. I am working to try and continuously improve genetic potential I am aiming currently for 74k stallions and 71k mares. If anyone is interested is working together to improve genetic potential especially Arabians. Have a good day!

hi jkwjkw, I am willing to work with you. My highest stud has 73,150k. I currently bred him. I could use some new breeding lines in my own plans, and I am willing to also create 74k stallions and 71k mares.

Yeah that would be amazing, I have been trying to outcross my heard a bit because I find now that they are so inbreed they have been producing lower gps than they used to but most people dont have the studs I am looking for. I would love to work with you on this project lmk how you would like to proceed.

I think we should use high gp thouroughbred stallions and use them on our mares, so we have new blood introduced to our herds. but I was also thinking to use belgians studs as well bc I have seen potential in most of the studs. But other than that I will proceed however u are thinking as i don't have a plan

That sounds like a good idea. Sorry it took a while to respond I have not been online for a while. What gp do you think the outcross stallions will have to be for it to work

I mean you could, I was also thinking to breed some of the old stallions and mares to the new bunch of stallion and mares
