Houses are purely decorative, as far as I know. You don't have enough horses to overfill your pastures yet, though for some reason your grass quality is down at 1%. So you don't need a house or barn to keep playing. To get money you need a trained grinder horse. Grinding means making it compete in the local competition it is best at every day.
