I can't decorate a barn (make stalls)

Hi!

I just bought a new 4-places barn and Wooden Stall Wall with Window and Wooden Stall Front. I can't use any of this in a build mode in the barn. When I try to add something from inventory it shows a modal with 'Sorry, you don't have any items available.'

I have a suspicion that maybe I need to place a walls first, but I don't see them in the market.

Is it a bug? Or what do I do wrong?

Are you using the new layout or the old one?

I tried both. I got what was the problem. I didn't click 'edit stall' and tried to apply items to the whole barn.
