Adding photos

Post by Phoenix123 »

Hi everyone!

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to attach images to posts in the forum please? I'm having a clearout with my mares and would like to create a post in the horses for sale with photos of them all

TIA :D

The easiest way to do so is like so:

Code: Select all

[horse=(horse's ID)](you can put text here if you'd like)[/horse]
For example, let's say I wanted to share this horse's picture:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/4289011

FIRST, make sure you have taken a picture of it in the "Gallery" tab or this method will not work.

SECOND, copy the numbers after the "profile/" in the URL. For this horse, the ID would be 4289011.

THIRD, insert the number where I wrote "(horses ID)" in the above code. It should look like so (but with your own copied numbers!):

Code: Select all

[horse=4289011][/horse]
Here's how it will look in the forum:

OPTIONAL FOURTH, if you would like, you can write anything you want between the code to have it show up with the horse. This is usually used to include its name, but you can write anything you want in between. Writing something descriptive can also be useful, but that's up to you! For example,

Code: Select all

[horse=4289011]This is Mystique, I'm using her as an example![/horse]
shows up as:

This is Mystique, I'm using her as an example!

Additionally, this method is useful because it acts like a link to you horse! If you click on any of these pictures of Mystique, you will go to her profile.

Hope this helps!
