Anyone offering aging-out?
Just curious if anyone is offering aging-out services, or is otherwise interested in buying old horses, but would agree to not breed or rename them? Things are getting crowded over here, haha.
Thanks in either case, friends.

I can age some out for you on a side account. It will be a while until I'm able to but while they're waiting they'll stay in my freezer if that's okay with you!

Ah! Thanks, friend. As long as they don't get renamed or bred, they can sit around wherever and for however long you want. I just need them out of my pastures, haha.slayqueenn2 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 7:07 pm I can age some out for you on a side account. How many would you be able to take, and are you charging?

Re: Anyone offering aging-out?
I could possibly do one

Re: Anyone offering aging-out?
I still definitely need the help. If you'd like to take one, would you take: This guy?

Re: Anyone offering aging-out?
I could, let me just clear this a little, do u want me to just age him or like keep him for a little, idk. I thought u were talking about like ageing up foals but he's like 18 yrs old so could u clear up what ageing up is? Sorry I joined a few days ago.

Re: Anyone offering aging-out?
No problem at all! Basically, I have a bunch of older horses that I'm not going to be using for my breeding project anymore, but since they have had offspring, I can't just click "rehome" on them. So, they stick around until they get old enough to retire on their own, whenever that is. What I'm looking for is someone who can take these older horses and just let them age-out to "retirement" in their farm, so it clears up room on mine.GoBigOrGoHomeEN wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 4:50 pmI could, let me just clear this a little, do u want me to just age him or like keep him for a little, idk. I hope I explained that well! Let me know if you still have questions, or if you decided that you don't actually want to age out that guy.

I have lots of room and I am currently playing in breeder mode due to a quite intense breeding project. I could easily board and age out like... 10-20?

Re: Anyone offering aging-out?
It's impossible to say for sure, as it's different for every horse. Some retire at 20, some don't retire until +25. If that's too long for you, that's totally okay. I'm posting the links to them all down below. If you want to age one out, go for it, otherwise no worries. Thank you for offering in either case!
Oh goodness! That would be absolutely incredible.
