Newbie looking for first grinder:

Post by moneysucces »

Newbie looking for first grinder: Hi, I just started and I've heard I can get my first grinder for free, is there somebody out there willing to give me a hand? I love one that is trained since my training levels are low

Thank you so much!

Definitely :) He'll be a useful grinder and could drop some pretty colored babies for you if you wanted it :)

Of course you can! Or you can offer him at stud. I would personally offer him publicly for $5000 and see if that interests other breeders, and you can always adjust it from there. He’s very inbred so you’ll want to read up on COI if you decide to incorporate him into your breeding program.

I found this farm log by Silverine very informative when I decided to play with Lp genetics.

And this post by Ealesi which I’ve been referencing for my new project for low COI grades.

My favorite post written by Kayaine for training horses.

And of course BlackOak2 is an absolute wealth of friendly and accessible information. In their signature at the bottom of all their responses they have a quick links link that I’m constantly using to find something, and if nothing catches my eye, I run to the search options for the forum :)
