A project to complete every one of HWO's Breeds Quests, by breeding a horse of all 328 creatable horse breeds in the game.

Project Goals

Goal 1 - To breed all 'Primary Breeds', created purely from Ancient Breeds.

Project Aims

- Maintain a low COI - 0-5%. May be difficult when breeding for tricky recipes.
- Use AC foundation stock where possible.
- All horses of new breeds bred by me will carry the prefix {DH}

A bit of a surprise as his dam evaluates 3* and his sire 4*, as they were the first horses I adopted during the tutorial. However, their individual ratings seemed to complement one another rather well. The first equine to proudly carry the {DH} brand.

First try. Although that does make me worry how difficult obtaining Arabian-Turkmene crosses will be once I need them for recipes.

I believe I was successful first try. I absolutely love strong dun markings like his, inherited from his dam. Speaking of of his dam, 'Shape Shifter' one day decided to change her markings and gain a stripe, and then changed her mind and reverted a few years later. Even though she doesn't really have a stripe, she must carry the genes for it as her colt has a star.
This guy will hang out on my holding farm until I am ready to work on the third goal of the project.

I was sad when his mane flopped over as before that he looked like a huge Przewalksi horse. I deny breeding him and the horse above whilst simultaneously attempting to meet the deadline for two important assignments.

Another end-of-line breed, it feels nice knowing that you can leave them in a paddock and not have to worry about them again. Her sire is also very pretty.

I'm slightly afraid of ending up with strings of grey horses, but hopefully he'll fade into a pretty fleabitten grey like his sire. Maybe his dam's colouring will resurface somewhere down the line.

I renamed his dam 'Lovely', as I felt sorry for her for buying her off the market at over 20 years old and then putting her in foal straight away so she wouldn't die :(
