Pink horses

Post by broadzilla »

So, I know that "pink" is not exactly a real horse color, but after seeing all of the "pink" horses suddenly popping up on the What Color Is My Horse board, I just had to start a thread here (since I didn't want to clog up those threads with my happy flailing).

I have a couple of quite rosy horses hanging around, but none of them quite compares to Pinky. I've had no reason to hang onto him other than his pinkness, but I just can't let him go. I love him to pieces.

I want to see y'all's pink horses! ♥

Aww your horse is adorable, I love his mane. I have a couple of pink horses now (thanks so much Gabby by the way, your pink horses have produced a pink!)

I’m actually not sure about this girl, she looked very pink when she was newborn but now her colour is darkening https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/4248388

And then my pair of pinks! https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/4240592

Good luck with your pink horses, please lmk if you need any help!

The pinks have definitely taken over a good part of my breeding here lately. I've kind of been grouping them together based off shades since the pink tone can really vary.

Pinks
Pink*3

Pink/Pink Stud

Pale Pinks (These usually look like some kind of Cream dilute by the time they hit 5 Years)
Pale Pink Stud

Pale Pink Mare

Light Pinks

Hi! I loooove your pink horses and I was wondering if any of the babies are up for sale, and if so how much you'd charge for them? I've been breeding pinks but none of them are a vibrant and beautiful as yours lol :D
Thanks!

I definitely don't mind selling a filly or two to a fellow pink breeder! ;) I've noticed that the pink color can change quite a bit from the 1 year old mark up until 5 years old (thanks to the pattern gene?) so feel free to take a look at any horses in the Pink Foal fields. I'm not super attached to any of them other then the ones with a "*" in the notes section. Let me know which ones catch your eye and I'll put them up for private sale if $8,500 sounds good to you.

I absolutely love the pink mane contrasting with such a lighter coat color that Pinky has! So imagine my excitement when I noticed that Pinky was up for stud and couldn't resist pairing a few mares with him.

Ahh! Look at that! I put him up for stud just in case anyone wanted to see if his pink genes would pass on well, but I didn't expect it to actually happen. That's so cool! ♥

I was surprised myself! I fully expected the first filly (Pinkys twin) and was hoping for something like the youngest filly that had a little more pink coloring but still a cream body. But that colt absolutely shocked me
