Well at my barn we have this new boarder and she's a gorgeous Tennessee Walker named Misty, and boy I've never ridden a gaited horse but her trot is soo smooth, it feels like you're posting it perfectly but you're hardly moving in the saddle and it's literal heaven! She has older owners who are thinking of selling her and my friend who rides at the same barn is thinking about purchasing her... and if she does I get first riding dibs!

Re: Frens <3
Oh my gosh that’s so cool I LOVE gaited horses! Hopefully your friend gets her!! At my old barn my bestie had her own horse bc her mom literally owned the barn (dream life???) and we used to rider her after our lessons and it was so fun I miss her sm at my new barn!Gabby_Woodlark wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:40 pmOOOH AT LEAST YOU'RE PRACTISING *insert thumbs up emoji*~besthorsebreeder~ wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:37 pm

I want my own barn :_D But of course riding is enough for me right now - I'd probably go broke within a month just buying fancy tack~besthorsebreeder~ wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:49 pmOh my gosh that’s so cool I LOVE gaited horses! I hope so too! She's been saving up for a horse since she was around eight and got her first dog-sitting job!

The only friend I have that owns a horse is a little ten-year-old cutie who barrel races on her lazy quarter horse.. but at least she lets me spoil him rotten!

Re: Frens <3
Omg since 8? She’s actually a money saving queen, I actually could never! My toxic trait is wanting an ottb, and not even because it would be cheap to buy either. I know it’s a bad idea guys it’s not my fault I like the spicy ones! The only reason why I’m actually motivated in school is literally so I can have enough to buy horses like they are actually a necessity atpGabby_Woodlark wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:53 pmI want my own barn :_D But of course riding is enough for me right now - I'd probably go broke within a month just buying fancy tack~besthorsebreeder~ wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:49 pm

This didn't come from me - but I did have to steer her back on track a couple times... those Breyer figures are an addiction (especially the annual Christmas horses)~besthorsebreeder~ wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:59 pmOmg since 8? My dream horse would be something with Blinker's personality (minus the bad habits of course) but like maybe a Standardbred mare... or a Tennessee Walker... or an Appaloosa... I can't choose ^^' I know it's gotta be versatile and decently cheap, trained, and at least has some experience with barrel racing and/or pole bending \_0_/

Re: Frens <3
I used to want an Appy SO BAD when I was a kid it was actually my dream horse! My friend I was talking about had one too. But yeah I always wanted an eventer, when I am older I defo want to do cross country! The western disciplines seem chill (except barrel racing ig that sounds SO fun) but at heart I’m a little psycho and when my friend let me jump her horse a bit it was so fun!Gabby_Woodlark wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 8:06 pmThis didn't come from me - but I did have to steer her back on track a couple times... those Breyer figures are an addiction (especially the annual Christmas horses)~besthorsebreeder~ wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:59 pm

Appaloosas are so gorgeous like their coats have hardly any restrictions and they're always unique! The only downside is sunburns but sunscreen doesn't cost too much \_0_/
I've always thought cross country was so cool but I'm too scared to even attempt anything but barrels and poles - no idea why.
I would say I can tell you're a psycho but then I'd be a hypocrite because Psycho is my middle name (not really-)
