Okay, listen.

Post by Gabby_Woodlark »

You know that feeling where you feel completely forgotten? Ignored, unloved, abandoned. Where you feel as if the world is spinning the wrong way and nothing's going right. Time flies by too fast, and then inches along too agonizingly slow. Your friends don't talk to you willingly, you have to engage conversations yourself. Even then, you feel like you're being too pushy and annoying. 'No wonder they don't like me.' you tell yourself. After all, who'd like someone as ugly, useless, annoying, and forgettable as yourself?

I know that feeling. So do others.

You're not alone. It may seem really crazy, and you'll probably think I'm lying, but you're loved. By me, or by people in your life, you're loved. Did you know that statistics show the possibility of any one human on earth being unloved is 0.00? It's literally impossible! You're not alone in feeling alone. Over 4.4 billion people on earth feel unloved. Yet every single soul is loved.

Don't believe me? I'll tell you some people that I'm absolutely positive love you.

- First off, me! I may not know much about the thousands of players on this website, but I do know that I love them all. Sure, some have made mistakes, even big mistakes. The thing is, we all make mistakes. It's a part of learning. Just accept that. But a good majority of those players have made this community a better place! Whether it be with their horses, breeding projects, helping hands, or even Guides made in the forums, they've contributed something and it's definitely worth it to have them as players!

- Second... The devs! You're probably thinking, 'No way, Gabby. I'm just one of who knows how many players and people in their life.' That's only partly true, dear reader. You aren't 'just' a person! I know the devs love every player that's joined this game. It went from an experiment to a hobby, then to a job! And that's only because we've joined this game and shown that we believe in it!

So switch off that depressing and low music with the sad guitars and the broken voices. Smell some flowers, pet your dog (or cat, or horse, whatever you've got as a pet!), talk with someone about anything, rant about something, confess to that crush, wear something you think you look great in, clean your room (you don't have to, but it might feel more cozy if you do), or go outside and simply sit and enjoy the fresh air!

Here are some of my all-time favorite quotes that I repeat to myself daily:

"Things always work out in the end. If things aren't working out, it's not the end."

"You have to be odd to be number one." - Dr Seuss

"Don't ever be ashamed of loving the strange things that make your weird little heart happy." - Elizabeth Gilbert

"Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm."

"Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you." - Walt Whitman

And yet, if this doesn't cheer you up even a little bit, this topic can be used for rants, vents, motivation, blessings, failures, successes, happiness, sadness, and even more. I know I'll celebrate and grieve with you, and so can others! Let out your heart and be free!

- someone who loves you
