How do I get on the leaderboard and top owner for competition

You use hosted shows. Find a horse or a number of horses (depending on which leader-board you're aiming for) that can place well in many shows and start entering. Depending on which leader-board you're aiming for, some will be easier to appear on then others.

For instance, if you were to go for the Nooitgedacht Pony leader board, you'd only need to find yourself one of this breed and enter just one hosted competition. Even a single point would put you on that leader board.

Hosted Competition = player made competition and not local shows

However, if you're going for the Top Owner leader board, you'll need to find a much larger number of horses (or a smaller number of horses that can really dominate hard) and enter a lot more competitions. I'm really not sure how long it would take you to get on there, but this account has been active since... 2016? I'm not a competition account, I'm a breeding account (just means I focus on breeding and don't compete too much), and I'm just about to be booted off that one leader board currently. I've had a lot of competition horses come through my account and it's really about having horses that can dominate in hosted competitions. They don't need to win, they just need to place consistently to earn the points. Get enough of them and you'll eventually make it there.

This is an ongoing competition that I host. The top horse earns 32 points, and that's with five entries.
The more horses that exist in the competition, the more points that are doled out to the top-placing horses. This is also how you title a horse.

But to get on the top ranked horse leaderboard with all breeds, mares and stallions that takes a lot of work holy crap…
