I can try to buy you a Champion horse. If you go to the info thing beside it says local shows. You can click on that and it'll earn you money. There's all sorts of ways though.

I make most of my money through competing, training for clients, and selling trained horses. All of that took a lot of trial and error to build up my business, so I'm not the best person to give advice to a new player

Here is a grinder that I trained. Offer $1 and she is all yours. If you go under the "local shows" and enter her in level 9 harness racing shows, she will earn you around $600 a turn.
