How do horses die?
Pretty much what the title says haha! How old do horses usually die of old age at? And what things can cause them to die young?

Re: How do horses die?
Seems like 20-22yrs is about average but some can go a bit older, some can go a bit younger. At this point they can only die of old age.

Anything after 20 for me (usually between 20 and 22), but you can keep a mare going by keeping her pregnant (rebreed her as soon as she's given birth), I've had some go in to their 40s by the time I've got the foal I want
.

If you're talking about this mare, your pasture quality needs to build back up.
But you don't need to worry. The only way a horse can die right now on HWO is of old age.
