ISO Pearl Shetlands

I'm looking for some Shetlands that visibly carry the Pearl gene in order to incorporate them into the herd that I've got going. HGP doesn't matter. I'd love some Tobiano markings since my herd's goal is facial markings (blazes, stars, snips) and Pearl. The Tobiano is not a requirement, though.

I'd prefer non-Apricot coats. That's Pearl on Chestnut. My herd's pretty much entirely Chestnut and Apricot and I'm trying to add some color variance. I'm seeking Black Pearls, Brown Pearls, and/or Bay Pearls. I do not want Cream/Pearl mixes, only Pearl.

I'd prefer visible Pearl, meaning the horse carries two genes, but if you have a horse that's proven for one gene then I'd be open to taking them as well. If the HGP is good then I'd possibly be open to non-Pearls as well (50k HGP or higher).

They specifically have to be at least partial Shetlands. They do not have to be purebred; the higher the Shetland percentage is, the more I'll pay.

Willing to negotiate prices; I can do money, a horse trade, studding to one of my horses, etc.

Pearl's a gene that shares a space with Cream. Cream is what turns Chestnuts into Palominos and Bays into Buckskins (one cream gene) or Chestnuts into Cremellos and Bays into Perlinos (two cream genes). Pearl is similar, with two pearl genes turning Chestnuts into Apricot and Bays into Bay Pearls. One Pearl gene does not impact appearance unless there's also one Cream gene, in which case you get your Palomino Pearls and Buckskin Pearls. You can only have: 0 of each gene, 1 cream 0 pearl, 1 pearl 0 cream, 1 cream 1 pearl, 2 cream 0 pearl, or 2 pearl 0 cream since they share the same genetic space.

No pearl shetlands.

But I do have pearls of mostly bay bases in my low GP project in board. I could probably find a stallion you could borrow (I would eventually need him back, but age isn't too important). So, they'd give you the color, but they'd impact everything else. On another positive note, they also carry sooty dapples.

It's there, if you think that's the path you need to take.

I think my plan will be to get a bunch of pearls from my production and then just breed them to some homozygous extension studs and go from there. I don't doubt that my Apricots have some hidden Agouti, they just need black reintroduced to them.

First generation from that will be 1x pearls, then hopefully I can breed that generation to the double pearls and get some colors going. After that it'll just be breeding like colors together to hopefully get some homozygous horses to keep their colors around.
