Flaxen Chestnut that looks Silver instead
Recently had this foal he looked completely normal for a Chestnut until he turned a year old. He can almost pass for a Silver Bay right now. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this or if you can successfully breed for this look consistently.
Temp Colt

These are his parents both completely normal looking Flaxen Chestnuts.

and i have noticed it has staying in the line no matter what i do. So i think you can breed this look consistently if as long as the horse your breeding him to is a chestnut
