Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Re: The Rare Breed Repopulation Community
Lol, sometimes I can relate to that. I just hate writing in general, so I just get lazy with it.Gabby_Woodlark wrote:Bruh when I don't try it looks good but when I do it looks like an 8-year-old tried to draw the Eiffel Tower but made it squiggly instead \_0_/ *Don't mind my very specific example brought to you by my little sis*Iris Rock Stables wrote: Alr
I mean when I actually try to write it can look decent, but most of the time I'm pretty lazy with it.

Hi! I am brand new here.
I thought it might be kinda fun to work on breeding a Byelorussian Harness Horse from scratch. Breeding all the necessary horses in the whole line myself, starting with "parents unknown" horses.
Am i crazy lol!

Re: The Rare Breed Repopulation Community
The Dole sale has finally been completed. It raised $430,000 to be added to the club's treasury. I'll be out of down on the 28th possibly until the 30th so I might wait to get things going again until after that.Gabby_Woodlark wrote:-

It's certainly doable if you want to put the effort in! I'd suggest signing up as a Specific Breeder; you'll be able to take on that project as well as get advice and funds from the club.brightspace16 wrote:Hi! I am brand new here.

Hello Treasures of RBRC Community! Was wondering if I could have 70K for buying a few horses. Not exactly sure how that would be transferred. Let me knowOpalhorse22 wrote:Ping

Hello! I am new here (like brand new lol) and I would like to join as a specific breeder!
Username(s): Brightspace16
Project Includes: Byelorussian Harness Horse
Preferred Breed: N/A
Why You Want To Join As A Specific Breeder: I thought it might be kinda fun to work on breeding a Byelorussian Harness Horse from scratch. Breeding all the necessary horses in the whole line myself, starting with "parents unknown" horses. Being part of this group would allow me access to funds and advice!

Once you've filled out a form for one of the positions in the club and are added to the list of members I'll be able to offer funds. The forms for each position are located on the main post of this club as well as the actual requirements for each position. You can be one role or multiple roles as you please, and of course you can step down from a role at any point (though you'll be expected to return unused funds as well as club horses if you leave entirely). I'll offer a quick explanation of each one now, though.
1. Breeder: When the club sets a target breed, your goal will be to work on making that breed. If it's an exceptionally rare breed then your job might be to help make the breeds used in recipes with the help of the Extra Breeders, at which point you pass those on to the Challenged Breeders. Ideally you'll be given recipe horses with great evaluations from the Extra Breeders, so this should be an easier role within this club. At the moment there's not many players that're actively working toward the club's target, though, so things are going a bit slowly. If you're looking to work on breeds with others without getting stuck on a single breed or if you're looking to learn more about breeding new breeds then I'd suggest this.
2. Specific Breeder: You choose what rare breed you want to breed at any given point. This is good if you're like me and are working on breeding every breed in the game to complete the quests. This is also good if you have a rare breed that you're already working on and breeding. If you're more the type to work on your own project then I suggest this.
3. Extra Breeder: You breed recipe horses for the Breeders to use. You don't necessarily breed the actual target breed, but rather try to get 4-5 star evaluations for the needed recipe horses in order to help the Breeders along. This can take some complex breeding to do and can take a lot of time and effort. This is a harder role than being a Breeder as it takes time and care to get good horses ready.
4. Challenged Breeder: Your goal is to breed the rarest of the rare breeds, which are those that have 50 or less horses in game. These are often the most challenging as the recipes are complex and recipe horses may be rare. Ideally you'd have the help of the Extra Breeders and Breeders for this, but you'd be expected to take on more of the workload for those breeds.
5. Treasurer: You hold, raise, and distribute funds for the club. This might mean that if the Breeders have an overflow of horses you might host a sale to get rid of the unwanted extras. You'd be expected to have some amount of funds at all time and you'd have to judge case by case requests for funds by other club members. This can be a passive role within the club.
6. Collector: You have room in a freeze account to hold club horses for other members. You also have the job of checking the market and sale forums every so often for horses that're used in the current target breed. You'll be allotted funds by the Treasurers for this.
7. Advisor: You have a lot of experience in breeding new breeds and can help others learn how to do so. You'll be expected to help out those who are having trouble and to help give directions to newer players who aren't completely sure how to make new breeds. This is more of a passive role.
8. Evaluator: You check horses posted in the community and tell the owners their evaluations for their target breeds. This is pretty passive and not often utilized as many members will opt to get their own books and check themselves.
9. Leaders: Self explanatory.
