RAB Night Bell - what color is she???

Hey! So my Arabian x QH mare is sired by a bay roan and out of a steel gray mare, and I don't know what to call her color besides a 'chestnut with a flaxen mane'. Night Bell is a silver bay. That's a bay coat with the silver gene. Silver makes the mane and tail turn a grayish-color. So, kind of like what flaxen does to chestnuts.

Black Jack's Bell is a silver dapple. That's the silver gene paired with a black coat.

Lil Night Sin you have correct, as a bay roan.

It takes all of us quite some time to get a handle on the colors on HWO. But we have great references if you want to attempt to tackle it. Start simply with black, chestnut and agouti (bay, wild bay & brown) and then start adding in everything else, one at a time. This is how many of us successfully learn the genes.
