Re: Buyer's Interest
Much appreciated. The Kirgiz Colt I promised has been born; I'll age him up and let you know when he's adult. I'm sure the others will be born in just a moment so I'll edit this when that happens, assuming you don't respond first.Heartland2001 wrote:no problem if there are any horses that might help you complete other breeds on my farm let me know and i could breed the mare or put the stallion up for stud and it would not cost you anything
Tchen Colt has been born! We just need a Filly now.
The other is also a Colt. I'll give you your choice between the two and will be auctioning the other off. I'm going to breed one of the mares again for (hopefully) a Filly.

Update 19: Trakehner
I've got a new Trakehner filly! Originally I was going to sell her, but I've just realized they're used in 13 other breeds. As such, I'll be keeping her and freezing her at breeding age. Hopefully she's a match for a few of those breeds!

Re: Update 19: Trakehner
That's great! The Trakehner was actually one of my first breeds i ever bred! (Other than like AC Horses and other starter stuff)EclipticEnd wrote:I've got a new Trakehner filly! If the plan doesn't work, change the plan. But never the goal.

Update 20: Baladi, Tchenarani for Sale, Mongolian, Trakehner, Altai, West African Barb
New Baladi time! She's very much amazing, as she has the best possible evals that I could ask for.
Making more of old breeds might seem redundant, but Baladis make more than just Kathiawaris.
Baladis create the following breeds:
-Baladi: Baladi X Baladi (of course) (2945 in existence as I type)
-Kathiawari: Baladi X [Arabian X Turkmene] (911 in existence)
-Hispano Arabian: Baladi X [Andalusian X Thoroughbred] (55 in existence)
-Polish Arabian: Shagya Arabian X Baladi (167 in existence)
My brand new fancy lady has five star evaluations for all of the above. She's very truly as good as it gets when doing this type of challenge. While I've already created all of the listed breeds, neither Arabian breed counted towards their quests. She'll be amazing for those two once the quests pop up, and I fully intend to keep her frozen once she ages to fill those quests specifically.
================================================
Other news:
While making Tchenarani for Heartland2001, I ended up getting two colts instead of a colt and a filly. They've had their pick, and now the other Tchenarani colt is for sale. I'm not keeping it purely because I want to use horses that I've created via two recipe horses rather than two purebreds for most of my breeds.
There's some exceptions, of course, such as with Kathiawaris where I broke down and bought a filly because after probably 20 tries, I have not had a single Kathiawari pop into existence. For Tchenarani, though, I want to attempt with my own stock rather than jumping straight into duplicating from pures.
Anyway, I'm getting off topic. The colt's gonna be up for offers. I'm looking for an offer more than 20k as there's only 202 as I type this, and anyone putting him up for stud will probably get some breedings, though they might be a bit rare as it's not a common breed.
If I get an offer that I like before he's mature then I'll transfer him. I will keep aging him until then, and if he's not offered on by adulthood I'll transfer him to my other account, freeze him, and continue the sale from there.
================================================
Apparently I forgot to put this up and add her to the list when she was born, but I have another Mongolian filly. My bad!
================================================
Also, another Trakehner filly. I'm going to stop doing those now, no matter how fun they are to make. I have four already, and I still don't even have the quest to make them! At least I definitely know that I'll be ready when the time comes.
(We might get one more, though, as I have a mare that I'll pop before freezing her. Edit: it was a fail foal.)
================================================
Last but not least, we have my first Altai filly. She's a full-blooded sibling to RummyTummy's, whom I loaned my mare to. Quest is complete but I want a stud as well, so the breeding continues.
================================================
Or it would be "lastly", but I took one more turn to use up my banked ones and bam, I've finally gotten my West African Barb filly. I almost don't know what to do with myself now. I'll have to figure out my next step tomorrow. Maybe this is where I finally make some Baluchis? We'll see in the future.
