Re: Forest Horse Question
They mainly come in dark colors, so your beautiful girl is not a glitch horse.
If you found a light cream-colored horse, then you would be pretty lucky!
PS: If there’s anything else I didn’t mention, anyone, feel free to correct me!

For the most part, your answer can be found in the Color Forum in this topic:ForestFriesianRS wrote:What are the colors AC forest horses come in?

There are a couple corrections that need to be added, but they've been noted, I think, in the replies.
With one potential exception. I've seen a couple brown arabians recently, but I'm still unsure if they're a glitch or a reality.
Forests are bays, with or without dun, pangare and sooty.
Yours looks like a bay dun pangare. Although it looks like the pangare is a bit understated.

Re: Forest Horse Question
Black Beauty is a super-sooty bay. We end up calling these 'pseudo-blacks' because, of course, they look black, but are not actually black.ForestFriesianRS wrote:in my secondary account, I have two red chestnut mares, and in this one I have a solid black with white markings.

And yes, there is a sprinkling of chestnuts in with the bays, just to be clear about that.

As a correction, Forests also come in brown and black.BlackOak2 wrote:Black Beauty is a super-sooty bay. Here's a brown Forest with intense pangare:
And a brown dun:
And a lovely brown dun with faded pangare:
All three are freshly picked up from the AC. There's also a really nice brown trying to masquerade as a black that's in there right now. I didn't see any blacks or grullos in the current stock but I have picked those up from the AC before.

Re: Forest Horse Question
So there's a chance that my black beauty could be black? or is he just intense sooty like BlackOak2 said?Silverine wrote:As a correction, Forests also come in brown and black.BlackOak2 wrote:

Re: Forest Horse Question
Your Black Beauty is definitely bay. His body is dark red, not black.ForestFriesianRS wrote:
