So I just bought this totally adorable mare yesterday and bred her to a gorgeous stud. However, I don't know exactly what colour she is. She is a blanketed snowflake, but I don't know if she is a blue roan or grey type base.

For any extra help - what do you think her foal will look like? I do hope the foal inherits the dad's mohawk gene, just looking for professional help! Thanks so much for any help!

Your new mare is black.

She could drop a red, a black, or even an agouti (bay, brown, wild bay) foal. The foal may also have pangare visible if it's chestnut or agouti. And expect a blanket, at least and maybe some socks.

Oh, and the foal with be a mohawk carrier. As mohawk is recessive, it needs two copies to express. There may be a chance that the dame has mohawk hidden, but I didn't look back in the pedigree for that.
