Re: Bay with a chestnut mane?

Sometimes the AC generated horses glitch and you get "chimeras" where they have a colored part that isn't correct. It happens with Turkmenes and Belgians, too, and possibly others. The picture will correct itself eventually I believe, so some people like to freeze them on stud accounts so that they won't age. I don't recall if there's a specific way to tell which color is the horse's actual color besides aging and having a foal with it.

You could call it a Bay Chestnut Chimera if you'd like.

What EclipticEnd said. :D

As a further note (if you didn't know already) glitch coats canNOT be bred for. They don't exist beyond the actual view we get.

The mane is the correct color. So unless it's been disproven by another horse that I don't remember or haven't seen, the mane will always tattle on what the real color of the horse actually is. However, a horse can gain, change or loose patterning as well (so even To and Lp are affected).

Your AC mare is a chestnut. But an incredibly, uniquely eye-catching glitch!
There are glitch collectors out there. And I could suggest you add her to the glitch favorites link to share her gallery image. :D That will be the only way to save a picture of how she is now, so if you want to do that, you will need to take that gallery image before she changes... which can happen at any time with or without turn usage.
