Re: help with horse paint
Hi ^^ you have a nice-looking Grey(ing) Brown there - no additional genes jump out at me but they might hide some recessive ones you'll probably only figure out by breedingFalada wrote:can someone help me and tell me what coat color the following horse

Re: help with horse paint
Oh, thanks

Re: help with horse paint
I think that your horse might be a roan overo. She is pregnant, and I have a mare where her spots are stretched out when she is pregnant so she may look different without the foal, but she seems to be a dapple strawberry roan with an overo face.

Nazarach is correct, the horse is a Grey on Seal Brown.Stable_Of_Champions wrote:I think that your horse might be a roan overo. Overo does not exist in the game, thus far the only white spotting we have is caused by tobiano (this includes all leg and face markings.) Strawberry roan is chestnut + roan and, as such, the mane would be the same colour (or lighter, if flaxen) than the body. Looking at a younger photo of her, you can tell that she is seal brown by the fact that she is mostly a darkish black-brown with reddish-brown by her muzzle, elbow, flank and buttocks (she has a very extensive seal brown that has also caused the underside of her neck and her belly to be reddish.) Grey horses are born their base colour and their hair and fur gradually turns white (in the game sometimes the mane doesn't.) In the game, you can tell a grey horse from a non-grey horse at birth based on how saturated their colour is - a foal that looks like an adult colour is grey but a non-grey will look mealy and washed out. Roan also does not exist in adoption center Arabians.

Thanks

Re: help with horse paint
actually the question would have been settled because the mare goes gray with age, but thanks for the tips
