Is this a light shade of chestnut or a dilution?

I don't think this girl has any dilutions other than dun potentially in her lines. I know she is metallic, but I wanted some opinions on whether her coat just looked like a light shade of chestnut or if there was something else going on.

Very interesting coat color!
Although I agree this is a super light shade of chestnut, the distinction of color from the mane to body, I have to say, there's also dun involved.

I was also going to vote pangare, but there is NO color difference at all from bottom to top. So no pangare, in my opinion.

Definitely one of those that the ability to reveal genes, would certainly help for. Still, quite an eye-catching coat! Congratulations!

Similar things happen to me when I try to breed OUT certain genes. Get the cryptic style of genes. Drives me crazy and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
But they do make for some stunning coats!

I definitely agree that there's dun - that horse and both parents are a shade that you only see in dun and appear to have chests and bellies that are just a touch darker and more saturated than they should be.
