Crossbreeding

I bred my New Forest mare with my Belgian to make a crossbreed and I did look into breed wiki to find a crossbreed to make but my colt still seems like a mix as it says New Forest x Belgian. Did the breeding not work or am I missing something?

Even if you breed the right horses, the foal may often end up being a cross of the parents instead of a new breed. Try to find parents that either have a 4-5* evaluation for the desired breed (although that isn't always possible when the two breeds needed are drastically different in build/size/etc). Even when you have the right breeds and the right eval, the foal still isn't always going to be the new breed you're trying for; it often takes a number of tries. Good luck!
