Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

I have some horses who are trained and almost have a champion title, once they have the champ title what do i need to do to become an official member

I was also wondering what breeds this association does, I have TB's, mustangs, Friesian and Abyssinian
Just copy/paste the part of the application regarding the Official Membership and fill it out! We're open to all breeds :)
Okay thank you i will do that once they have gotten the champion title

Hi there
I'm just trying to register my first horse to this club but i'm unsure what the last pare means as i have never really shown horses in this game before. It is this part Best time/score:
Your membership status has been updated to official :)

So, when you go to your horse’s profile and scroll down to their competition record, you can click the discipline and it will bring you to all the competitions your horse has entered in that discipline. It will show you the horse’s placing, earnings, and their time/score.

To find your horses best time/score, you just go through their competition results (only for that discipline) and find the best one. However, for some disciplines a lower time/score is better, and with others a higher time/score is better.

Disciplines with regular scores:
For these disciplines, you want a higher score.

Dressage (in %)
Driven dressage (in %)
Hunter
Log pull (in feet)
Obstacle driving
Reining
Saddleseat
Western Pleasure
Western Trail
Working Ranch

Disciplines with penalty scores:
For these disciplines, you want a lower score.

Cross country
Marathon driving

Scores with time, penalty, and final scores:
These types of scores are a little different. Depending on the discipline, it’ll say something like Time/number of cows penned: Penalty: Final score: The only thing that matters is the final score, which is determined by the time and penalty, which are added together to find the final score. Now what gets confusing is that in certain disciplines you want a low final scores, but in others you want high. For example, in show jumping and in-hand jumping you want a low final score, but in cutting you want a high final score.

Now, why isn’t endurance included in this? It does have time, penalty, and final time, however, it is not a scored event, so that’s why I’m putting it separate. Endurance is exactly like the scores with times and penalties, except it is measured by final time, not final score because it is a timed event. You do want a lower final time in endurance.

Timed events in minutes:
In these events it will be timed and you want the lowest time possible.

Harness Racing
Racing
Steeplechasing

Timed events in seconds:
These are exactly the same as the ones above, but they are timed in seconds.

Barrel Racing
Pole bending
Sprint Racing

When registering your horse, make sure to include their best time/score in all of their disciplines!!
