Sorry to burst your bubble but that horse is NOT worth $1,000,000,000. I would not pay 50k because he is up there in age. Yes he's a good boy but not worth that much. When your training horses most everyone wants them done in under 3 HWO years, some are ok with 5 years. That one offer you got of 28k is pretty good considering him.

I'm not trying to be rude, I just want you to know how much horses are worth. I hope this helps a little
